Hawker Typhoon (Late) 439 RCAF Squadron
Here's my 1/48 scale Hasegawa Hawker Typhoon IB I did a few years back. I started a build log here but was never able to post some completed pictures.
This Typhoon served with 439 Squadron RCAF near the end of the war in Europe.
It has the late war roundels, no invasion stripes, four blade prop and larger Typhoon/Tempest tail planes.The aircraft was named Nicky and was flown by Flight Officer Hugh Fraser who shot down an ME-262 jet in this aircraft before it was lost later on. The decals are out of print now.

Really nice looking David. I very much like the camo work the not over done weathering and the wear around the walk ways. The look of the 4 bladed prop seems to give it a little more horse power just sitting there. Well Done !
