That must be the one with the zero-G cat, huh…? How’d ya know for sure it was a Tornado?
Oh wait….you’re talkin’ ’bout the headline photo…..duh!

Good stuff! And as a USN Airdale I approve of any and all Air Force jokes 🙂

Ditto above what Rob said, Are those Vulcan bombers? Always wanted to do an under water diorama of the one in Bond’s Thunderball movie. Yes beer is a salad.

Yes, beer IS a salad 😎

And it’s not just for breakfast, anymore! The Pilgrims viewed it as liquid bread. That’ s my excuse, anyhow. Historical prededent! John Winthrop said so! Someplace.

Good stuff. The Air Force cavalry vehicle is very similar to the Urban Assault Vehicle in “Stripes”.
Bill, the National Guard here in the Peepuls Republic had one as a “mobile command post”. They had it on display, and it was all I could do (being from the OLD Army) to keep a straight face. The guy who showed it to us said the coffee urn was the most important item aboard. Uh-huh.
Just didn’t strike the proper military note, I’m a grognard, though.

Now guys, as an Aussie, I have to say that posting that last photo is somewhat offensive.
Yes, we do like our beer Down Under and yes, the picture clearly shows a local, but I can assure you, we’re not ALL like that!
Great idea but! 🙂

No offence intended, Nick. Just following on from ‘beer theme’ and it happened to be in same area of that particular site.
I’m sure jet pilots could make a similar point about ‘cat juggling,’ as not representing professionals, against animal rights, etc., but as it’s clearly a set-up I’ve taken it in the spirit in which it was offered.
That said, the alleged ‘Aussie’ photo apparently did represent an individual of that nationality in that particular mindset at that particular moment.
I’ll have a closer look in future, although it’s difficult to second guess every eventuality.
Fair dinkum Rob, don’t stress mate. No offence taken I can assure you!
I’m betting only an Aussie would come up with something like that!! Funny? I reckon!
Rest assured, we’re not a nation of total p**s-pots…just some of us!
