MonoFix SHAR FRS.1

October 21, 2016 · in Aviation · · 8 · 1.7K

Before Kinetic released the British 1st Gen. SHARs the only good way to build one was a kit-bash. Here is my bash from 2013/14. There is too much to describe here so I have included a link to my WIP on BM. This is old school modeling that I get the most enjoyment doing. Maybe that will change when I build some shake n bake kits that I have collected over the years.

  1. Nice job on the kit-bash, John...looks good. Isn't that always the way? As soon as ya do sumthin' like that, the kit ya wanted in the first place is released! 🙁

  2. Excellent conversion, nice flight deck too.

  3. A fine looking Harrier !

  4. Subtle finishes, John. Very nice. Harriers are odd - they look deceptively simple but can be difficult to build, certainly to the standard shown here.

  5. Looks good to me !, Nice work John. I like the sun baked look to the paint / weathering. Looks like a real work horse !

  6. Great build on my favourite aircraft John!

  7. Great looking Harrier! Got a nice worn appearance to it. I was just looking at a Sea Harrier in the top of my closet and thinking about building a Falklands bird.
