Lavochkin La-5 1/72

October 25, 2016 in Aviation

Set La-5 models 1/72 Prop & Jet drew his preparedness and beauty.

Now I can add your opinion about the pros and cons of the set:
Good that:
Wing given one piece, greatly simplifies the life of the modeler,
Beautiful study of surface texture (jointing, riveting, sag)
Small details are clear
The complete absence of bubbles that surprising to me on the details of the resin.

The main objective of the modeller – not to spoil the manufacturer laid down in the model merits. His hands put minimal.

The inscription on the plane “Valery Chkalov Squadron”.
The plane was built with the money farmers Gorky region

  1. Lovely work for the small scale (she would be a beauty in any scale!).

How did you achieve the insulators? Looks very realistic.

  2. Very nice work! Love the Lavochkins!

  3. Yes, love the Russian fighters – ‘the kitchen sink’ with national markings.

  4. Beautiful work. Nice paint scheme.

  5. A nice little rendition, sir…..good work.

  6. 🙂 … Greetings 🙂 :
Now that is an aircraft not normally seen, very nice work on this one Pavel.
Just love the way you did the white on the scheme, very nice touch. That silver panel gives it a unique look and that is what caught my attention, good work. Thanks for sharing those pictures.

  7. Great finish and presentation. Looks fantastic.

  8. Good work Pavel, I had to take another look when I realized it was in 1/72 scale. I really like the “in the field applied” winter camo look.
