Heading for Scale Modelworld 2016?
This coming weekend, modelers from all over Europe (and indeed, the World) will be meeting in Telford for the annual IPMS Scale Modelworld.
By Friday I will be on a plane to Manchester to join the crowd, meeting up with my friends @magnusf and @halvarvonflake for two days of modeling extravaganza at the Telford International Centre. Plus a lovely but probably wet November weekend in a corner of England known for the Ironbridge, Blue Cheese and Charles Darwin, not to forget the RAF Cosford.
Part of the pleasure of attending the Telford event is meeting people. Will you be getting there? Please do no hesitate to add a comment and maybe there'll be a chance to meet up!
Also, look forward for the usual extensive photo coverage of Scale Modelworld. Last year, we have been pretty successful in posting directly from the event floor, and I hope we'll be able to repeat it this time around, too.

Yep I'm there. Norfolk Scale Model Group stand and a few things in Competition area.
Thanks Rob, I will try to come by. As usual, we're not bound to any particular stand but we'll certainly will be attending a BYO lunch in the IPMS Overseas section... which for many reasons may be a good point to meet for a mingle. Also, I'm for sure will be spending a lot of time taking photos in the contest area...
Bring on the pics! If I can ever convince my wife that part of a vacation should be spent at Model World, I'll join you one year...may have to get the remaining kids out of the house first!

Yep, I'll be going, hoping to meet up with a few people down there, will probably be at the Airfix Model World and Model Airplane International stands quite a bit on Saturday
