Revell 1/96 Cutty Sark
Hello all,
My second build of this huge sailing ship. I finished her in a late career not so fast moving freight moving sailing ship, a little bit forgotten by her crew..
Allmost full rigging! I'll get there some day..

You obviously have a lot more patience than I, sir...I wouldn't attempt anything that intricate - ever. Beautiful work.
Sailing ships do have sense of romance about them, and your effort seems to capture it nicely.

I remember I was a kid and was building the USS Constitution by Revell. It was a huge model kit and way above my skill set. My Dad was working on his model of the Cutty Sark just like yours. I never finished my ship but Dad finished his. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Yours came out very nice. I really like it.
Now working on the Revell Mayflower and afterwards Revell USS Constitution - also the second time! In time i'll post it here!

Really nice Maurits, I just don't have the patience for rigging so I stay away from masts. Your Cutty looks great.
