  1. Whoa! That Cobra with digital camo is un-fracking-believable!

    • You (almost) took the words right outta my mouth!

    • It IS awesome! That's some paint job - and by that I mean the model (especially) AND the real one! I was still in the Army when digital began. The guys who had to paint it HATED IT. Out in the field, I couldn't personally see that it was a better kind of camouflage. Those vehicles were just as easy to see through our TIS & TTS thermal sights than any other type of paint scheme. Thermal sights just don't care. When you have a sight like what is used in many of today's tanks that uses liquid nitrogen as a viewing material, EVERYTHING gives off heat! Even winter grass. (Liquid nitrogen is −195.79 °C; - 77 K; −320 °F) Really cold. Almost ANYthing on earth shows more heat than that!

Great selection. Wish there was a mainstream 1/72 kit of the HP 42

  3. Ahh - there's my scale! Man, there's some beautiful work on display - something to shoot for...

    • I was member of the jury of 1:72 propeller driven aircraft (master category). They were all really good - actually 8 of them achieved 80% on the scoring sheet! No mistake! 🙂

  4. VERY interesting! Near the beginning of the photos is an ME/BF 109 E type - can anyone tell me what the markings are? I've never seen those before.
Mr. Editor, this has been a wonderful series! Thanks for taking time to post ALL that you have. I'm hoping for even more!
