North American B 25J Mitchell, A47-26, 2 Sqn 79 Wing RAAF Hughes NT 1944.

April 25, 2017 in Aviation

1/72 Italeri, I thinned the cockpit armor plates, drilled the landing light lenses, corrected the nose gear door position and added some antennae wires, finished in MM enamels with Tamiya X22 + X21 over Aussie decals, built previous to 2004.

  1. 🙂 … Greetings … 🙂 :
Clean and crisp work on this B-25 Allan , looks like a museum piece.
    Thanks for sharing the images.

  2. Allan, great work! Love those gunships, especially the B-25s & B/A-26s!

    Nice photos, too.

A very professional looking build & paint job. It’s nice to see one in pristine shape once in a while. When I was Military, we didn’t ALWAYS get worn-out looking equipment – mostly, but not always. LoL!

  3. That’s a nice model, Allan….I like that.

  4. Who doesn’t love a Mitchell?! My favorite WWII aircraft, and looks good in the RAAF markings. Another nice model.

  5. Nice! ,great companion to your Havoc.

  6. Allan, nice looking B-25J to add to the RAAF ongoing collection! Really different markings for most of us, good to see it.
