Baghdad Taxi (or,how i lost my tandoori chicken)

May 23, 2017 · in Diorama · · 8 · 1.7K

Made this a few days ago. What started as a project out of spite to myself turned out just fine. The RG-31 is available to be seen in a previous article,so I wont spend words on it.

I used a peculiar L shaped counter add on which i poured plaster to either side. One side was used to make the road the other formed the vertical side of the concrete blocks. Then i poured the base of the blocks in an angle. Then I scribed in individual blocks and started to grind them down to make then offset from each other. The jersey barriers are from J`s works(including the street lamp and the fence),figures are Master Box. Added the slings on the M16s. The puking guy got a bottle of water to wash the foul taste in his mouth.

Funny thing, everything in this diorama came from the box- gave the figures and the road block set as a limited edition series, so good value on that 🙂
