Eduard 1/48 Albatros DVa, final installment

May 9, 2017 · in Aviation · · 13 · 2.1K

Hello again.

Last of the project, basically with all the same changes and improvements than the previous two but with the needed changes to represent a DVa. Main difference is that the finishing was done mainly with decals (the other two were mainly with paint) for the obvious reason of the lozenge finishes in the main planes and tail. Lozenge decals from MicroSculpt and external wood decals from Uschi, the rest of the markings came from the sheets of the involved kits.

This machine is usually represented with the later crosses and white rudder, but I liked this version more.

I spent almost 13 months with these three models, I hope you enjoy the results.
