It's already been a full week since the Moson Model Show, and I'm still under the impression of all the modeling art that we've had a pleasure of viewing at the event.
One of the hallmarks of the Moson show is the incredibly crowded armor section. Despite the extra space afforded by the new venue at the city's brand-new sports arena, armor congestion continued also this year! Looking back at these photos, I'm still in awe of all the skill, patience and creativity shown at the armor and diorama tables. If there ever was a diorama masterclass, this is it. I'm sure that you will agree!

Amazing attention to detail in those dioramas...just outstanding artistry. I have a question regarding one in particular. There's a scene where there's a figure with an RPG running in front of a [tank?] that had it's track blown off. It has a twin-mount gun on it. What IS that? I've not seen one configured as such before.
I believe it is ZSU 57-2,
a twin 57mm AA gun of Soviet production

I don't build armor, but if I did, I'd want to build dio's like these! Some incredible work, imagination and planning went into all of these. Just spectacular.

Amazing stuff. SWMBO the resident artist here was most impressed by the realism and the amazing work - those three middle eastern guys running, who only have a heel or a toe on the ground really got her attention.
