Hasegawa 48th scale Phantom

August 14, 2017 in Uncategorized

This was a bagged kit (no instructions/decals) and something I wanted to get outta the way before starting on the two Z-M F-4’s I’ve yet to begin. I didn’t spend a lotta time in detailing and I did absolutely NO weathering, staining…..nuttin’. Naturally, it coulda been better, but it looks all right stuck in the middle of the F-4 shelf I got goin’ on. I may get back to it after a time and actually finish it up ‘right’.

  4. Hello Craig…Nice looking Phantom and well worth ‘finishing up’ as you mentioned. No doubt it will be a fine addition to your Phantom shelf.

  5. I’ve always loved the Phantom, and youre Israeli iteration is sweet. Nice job, Craig!

  6. Looks good Craig – another solid, clean build, and you gotta love Phantoms (at least I do!).

  7. Craig: Your IDF Phantom looks great. A nicely done Phantom always looks good, especially when done in rarely-seen 69 Squadron “The Hammers” markings. Good job!

  8. Very nice Craig, love the scheme

  9. It looks right enough to me, Craig

  10. Nice work Craig, I like it, and if Marvin says its good, then it is !

  11. Nice job Craig. Good to see you at the work bench my friend. It looks great to me, even without the weathering you mentioned.

  12. 🙂 … Greetings … 🙂 :
I just got back yesterday ( Sunday night ) … logged in today and to my
    great surprise … this … an F-4 Phantom !
Very nice work Craig. Good clean work and the shine in the paint really makes the shape lines stand out. No weathering needed my friend.
The IDF markings make this one kind of stick out over the rest.
Hope too see the other ones when completed.

  13. Nice job Craig. Keep em coming.

  14. I’ll second Robert R.

    Phantastic Phantom !

  15. Nice clean F4 Craig, looks good.

  16. Looks great Craig, nice job! I just had some time to look at others’ posts after trying to get my stuff on amidst “honey-do” list requirements! Great F-4, I am blasting through some partial builds this summer and enjoying it- nice to actually build what we have bought and stored!
