Mitsubishi F1M2 Observation Seaplane Type 11

August 19, 2017 in Aviation

Hasegawa 1/48th scale Mitsubishi F1M2 Zero Observation Seaplane type 11 “Pete”
With this kit I used the separate Photo-Etched parts set from Hasegawa.
The set included, bracing wires, instrument panels, gunsights and bomb fins.
The seat belts are from Eduard.
I painted the model with Tamiya acrylic. Artist gouache was used for weathering.

  4. Beautiful. I was unaware Hasegawa made one of these in 1:48

  5. This is a beauty !!!! I was wondering if you had any problems with it during the build ?? I have two of these that are working their way closer to the top of the build pile…………….. I really like yours !!!!

  6. Very nice! I just realized I don’t have one of these in my stash, and am going to have to pick one up (1/72 – Fujimi makes one…).
