1/48 Tamiya P-51D Mustang
Hello Dear Modellers
This is my last completed build. This time I build P-51D Mustang from Tamiya. I choose markings from Kagero publishing Polish Mustang for Mustang Mk.IV 303 Polish squadron based at RAF Hethel UK 1946. The kit as usually with Tamiya goes together with no problems and filler what so ever. The decals from Kagero are printed by Cartograf so they are superb.
Kit manufacturer: Tamiya 89732
Scale: 1/48
Type: N.A. P51-D Mustang and Staff Car
Extras used: Aries resin seat, Eduard PE Zoom Set, and resin wheels
Paints and colours used: Tamiya XF-81,XF-82, XF-83.
Hope you will like it :).
Cheers

Very nice Mustang, Michal! I especially like the weathering on the wing roots and the flaps.

Very convincing build, Michal! I like virtually everything about it, from the weathering to the sheen.

Utterly cool build, and an interesting paint scheme for a “D”! I like it a lot, too.

Looks like you’ve done a good job on this classic Tamiya kit, it’ll be interesting to see just how popular the new kits from Airfix and Meng will turn out.

Ditto on the weathering. Its a “Goldie locks” build, Just right. Another strong build of a Tamiya classic.
