Su-24MR Trumpeter 1/72

November 23, 2017 in Aviation

Su-24MR Trumpeter (no.01672) of Russian Naval Aviation. Model completed this year, built only based on factory kit + Edurd parts + stand for model Coastal kits + Alexminiatures figurines. Painting GUNZE Mr.Color and Hobby Color. Set very well folded with delicate drawing of the dividing line and riveting. The rest remains in the hands of the same modeler … I recommend

  1. I am sure like other Trumpeter kits in this scale it was a nice challenge of a build. I only have the older DML SU-24 kits have 2 of them. Those are bear to build as I have read. Yours however is excellent, well done, weathering on an aircraft that is well used in theatre. Thanks for sharing. Kind of a motivational build that has me looking at the larger 48th Trumpeter Fencer as something to start on in the new year. Or maybe start on one of the DML’s. Happy Thanksgiving

  2. Hello Krzysztof, and welcome to iModeler.

There are so many kits these days that I didn’t even know there *was* a Trumpeter Su-24 in this scale. I also think this is also the first of the type that I’ve seen built. You have no doubt made it justice – well done! Also the base and the figures add much to the presentation.

  3. I can only echo the Editor’s comments, my friend. Well done indeed.

  4. Hello Krzysztof,
Model and setting deserve a high thumbs up.
Looking forward to more Russian models from your hand.
    regards, Dirk / The Netherlands.

    • Thanks for your evaluation, I am currently building the MiG-29A in the colors of the Polish tactical squadron 1elt Warszawa, which inherits the traditions of Polish squadrons from 1939 and Polish squadrons in England sq.316 and sq.303 “Kosciuszkowski”. I hope I will not be able to present it. Regards

  5. Beautiful! Welcome to iModeler. This is a fine example of an aircraft we here in the USA don’t see as often as we’d like.

    • Thank you for the good rating, I’m glad you like the model. His construction gave me a lot of satisfaction … as a young man I remember as just such Su-24 Soviet aviation flew over my city, they made a big impression on me, it was the eighties. Based on the very good Trumpeter kit. Regards

  6. Kysy, excellent build! Love the weathering and detail work, and it’s in my scale. Well done.

  7. Thank you … about the scale of 1/72 is “royal scale” πŸ˜‰ πŸ™‚ my favorite scale. I’m glad that I met you

  8. Another 1/72 scale modeler, welcome Krzysztof, nice Su24, well presented.

  9. That’s a really cool build! Love the weathering underneath!
