Sd.Kfz 173 Jagdpanther – X-mas gift

December 25, 2017 in Armor

I was pure airplanes kits builder. But I want to make my son happy so I build him some tanks who he can put into his display and collect – maybe even play with them.
So, I bought some really cheap kits from Revell.
This is the second one – It a bit better than Pz.Kpfw II, but still – the kit is old Matchbox stuff and you will know right after you get out the frames from box… Surprisingly, the body is well detailed for this scale – but do not expect any other detail.
If you want to build something serious, buy some other kit on the market – I am not expert, so I cannot say which one. 🙂
So, this is pure box build, Revell 1:76, I chose attractive camouflage, which can look good for a child.
Do not try to find some issues – there are many and I don’t care, because no body will care. 🙂 This is just X-mas gift, just for fun…

Merry Xmas to all and Happy New Year. I wish you a lot of fun and many finished fantastic models in new year – and great time with iModeler!

  1. Looks great, Martin…nice job!

  2. Martin,

The painting and the washes or pastels step it up and given the scale and it is for young hands …it all works. My understanding is that the red-browns was a primer and because of the war and the lack of paint they left the vehicle partially painted in primer the rest in Panzer Yellow..
    Two thumbs up.

  3. I want to be your Son………can I?. Very well done. Merry Christmas.

  4. Great idea, have a good holiday.

  6. Still scary this tank, even in 1:76 🙂 Nice work!
