PZL P.7 of “Bajan Trio” (Arma Hobby 1/72)

January 20, 2018 · in Aviation · · 27 · 3K

A long time ago I've assembled several PZL /P.11 kits from Poland manufacturer PZW Siedlce. This kit is still present on the market, but it could be treated only as a "classic" kit nowadays. But last year (2017) another polish company (which was also known as Attack Squadron) released completely a new kit of P.7.

I've got Deluxe Set – two kits in the box, resin wheels, PE parts, masks and decal sheet with 8 options. it's a short run, but in a very good quality (take a look on WIP photos to see the corrugated skin imitation).Kit provides parts for building early and late version of P.7.

Prototype of this model is the plane of Cpl. Karol Pniak of 122nd Fighter Squadron based in Kraków in 1933. Cpl. Pniak was also a member of aerobatic team "Bajan Trio" with his airplane.

Model was painted with Hataka lacquers (Hataka Orange Line), gloss and satin coats also by this manufacturer.

Thank you for watching!

  1. Very nice work, Dmitry. Looks like a great little model kit for many of us 72nders.

  2. Nice little build, Dmitry...I like it (I still like that lighter, too) - 🙂

  3. Nice one Dmitry.

  4. Nice work, Dmitry! Hataka “orange” is a lacquer, correct?

  5. Very neat. Superb finish.

  6. Excellent build, and 1/72!

  7. Amazing little build. Hard to believe it's a 1/72 scale plane... but it is.

  8. It reminds a little of the Lysander, one of my favourite aircraft. I'm sure it's correct but the wing decals seem to be set off to one side. Very neat build.

  9. A simple aircraft by type, but your modelled version is delicate and finely observed.

  10. Dimitry, this is a great model of an aircraft we seldom see here! Well done!

  11. Looks fantastic - very clean build on an interesting aircraft.

  12. Nicely done Dmitry, different !
