Macchi c 200 Hasegawa 1/48

March 24, 2018 · in Aviation · · 13 · 1.9K

Another old build from my collection if I'm not wrong I've completed this 2 summers ago.
Old but a good kit from Hasegawa simple to build but the result is nice smoke ring camo applied by airbrush and the models was painted with gunze acrylics and weathered via artist oils.

  1. Excellent job, Adilcan...very nice result. I like this a lot.

  2. Hello there Aldican,
Beautiful model indeed ! Yours looks really good.

  3. Very good results with the green rings sir! Funny thing is I have this exact kit with this exact camouflage/decals hidden inside the box for God knows how long...10 year’s perhaps?! It’s a plane with such graceful lines that it begs to be built. You did a great job with this one Aldican. The only remark that gets my eye is the wing dihedral...I don’t think they should drop, but I could be wrong. Wonder if that is a consequence of the plastic giving away after these couple of years built?

    • Hey Pedro thank you for the kind words, and for the dihedral they are acctually straight but looks like they have an negative angle because of the lightbox that i used for photographing them

  4. Adilcan, Wonderful looking Macchi, camo looks great. Well done !

  5. Real nice work on a graceful aircraft!

  6. Fantastic work Adilcan. The Macchi is a wonderful aircraft and you made great work from the Hasegawa kit. The smoke rings done by airbrush is really great. Not the easiest camo to add to these Italian aircraft. Super!

  7. Great plane, Adilcan! I especially like your weathering and your hand-done "smoke rings" look awesome. Well done!

  8. Beautifully done! I love the weathering work you do - makes for a realistic representation of a real aircraft. Nice!

  9. Great job on the smoke rings. I cheated on my C.205 and used the kit supplied rings
