  1. Hi Eric,
This is a great build, the paint shading is fantastic! Congratulations, Michel.

  2. Thanks for the kind words Michel!

  3. Stunning Hornet! A really beauty and masterpiece! I also like your photography. Really nice pictures great presentation. I really need to work on my picture taking so I take notice of this often. Love the Hornets and this is one of the best I have come across!!! Hope you win award for this one.

  4. Masterful craftsmanship Sir. In the correct backdrop setting this could pass as the real thing.

  5. Sweet lookin’ build, my friend….outstanding work!

  6. Wow, that’s very nice Eric. Great job on the whole build.

  7. Appreciate it Gary thanks!

  8. Good looking hornet.

  9. It’s amazing how old this kit is yet it is still the go to kit to build for a legacy Hornet. At least for me. Not a difficult build, with all the options now available for the Hase Hornet. This is one of the cleanest builds and unique markings for a Marine bird. Well done. With so many markings available for any one who still operates the Hornet you can build several squadrons. Great pics as well. Thanks for sharing Eric, well done.

  10. Nice job, Eric. I like that you didn’t over-weather it andI love the almost monochromatic appearance.

  11. Congratulations !

  12. Gorgeous Hornet, Eric. I agree with Matt – give it a background and it’d look real! Outstanding.

  13. An excellent Hornet!

  14. Hello Eric,
Your FA-18D looks powerful. Nice dark colors. Almost forget to mention your excellent photography. Regards, Dirk / The Netherlands.

  15. Thanks Dirk. I try to buy other colors for the background. This one turned out like a nostalgic black & white photo because the hornet scheme was black, white & gray.

    Eric
