Pzkfw IV Ausf D, 1/35, Tamiya

June 14, 2018 · in Diorama · · 15 · 3K

Hey all,

One of my first dio's, I finished a few years back, based around the , , Panzer Kampfwagen IV Ausf.D. The crew, including the dog, are the Tamiya kit supplied figs and Verlinden figs, painted with a combination of Vallejo and oil paints. The vegetation is a mix of Woodland Scenic products, real twigs and various real grasses. The river was created with real pebbles and dirt as a base and then covered with a two part clear resin, sculpted many, many times to retain the ripples. One thing I would do different today is the road...looks a bit to flat and "hard". But hey, that's one great thing about modeling...learn and add it to the next one. I hope you like...keep on modeling!
