Almost completed: Butcher over the Steppes

Inspired by a recent Iron Works from @lgardner, the thought of painting free hand one of those green/brown schemes the german fighters used on the east front during the warm months made me get the brand new 190 A-5 from Eduard.
The review Tom Cleaver made of this kit is spot on because having built Tamiya, Hasegawa and DML kits none offers the simplicity, accuracy and ease of build all in the same box...furthermore i find the profipack less expensive than all the aforementioned kits in my domestic market.
The model is almost completed, but because having no Superglue available (last tube was completely dry) the seat belts positioning refrain the completion of the model. sINCE i'll be away for a short holidays I won't be completing it until then.
Markings on the wings are painted, and fuselage codes and crosses are decal from a Kagero book. Hope you enjoy!

You won’t be sorry Terry, it is a very nice kit. I don’t recall using any filler, just some lines of liquid putty over one or two seam lines
I agree Pedro ... This is a very good looking FW. It reminds me of a plane very similar to one flown by Emil Lang from JG 54... You captured the look very well, and it's one of the paint schemes I plan on eventually building when I get an A-5 back in the stash. The A-8 version I built as an "Otto Kittel" plane doesn't have the tan color in the paint which is what sets these Birds apart from the others...
I still don't have very easy access to Eduard kits from our somewhat "Local" hobby store, so I may have to break down and order one online. These new Eduard kits look to be very promising.

Yep, the inspiration came from your Otto Kitel machine Louis, but I chose the 3 colour because it was long overdue in my build list. This one is a IV. JG/51
