Lockheed Ventura Mk.II 1/48 Revell

August 10, 2018 · in Aviation · · 19 · 4.1K

My last build from "Holiday Battle" with my friend. Very nice kit, this is only oob, only masks and seat belts from Eduard.

  1. An unusual subject. I certainly haven’t seen one posted in a long while. You say ‘only OOB’ but it’s a very good result.

  2. Nice work Josef ! 487 squadron before they converted to Mosquito's I believe.

  3. Well done Josef, looks good.

  4. One of the nicer-built/finished Ventura's I've seen of late - good work..! 🙂

  5. that's a beauty

  6. I've always loved the look of the Hudson/Ventura products from Lockheed. Might stem from the movie "Captains of the Clouds". Excellent model!

  8. Hello Josef,
Indeed a very successful build. The finish is excellent.

  9. Wonderful work, Josef, from start to finish.

  10. This is really nice. I was wondering how they would do the turret (many others have tried and failed to get its shape) but they nailed it. Your work here is excellent!

  11. Josef, Very nice work, on what appears to be a very nice kit. I really like the paint scheme and the markings. Well done !

  12. Very nice! Some good shading and finish work. Love these civil aircraft drafted into military service - they just have a pleasing shape and look wonderful under war paint.

  13. Like all above I like it, this kit seems very good for all models I’ve seen elsewhere were also very interesting. Good job Josef
