Hamilton Warplane Museum with its Dragster Show

I am not that much into cars but it was interesting seeing them up close. The car show itself was on the following day so not all the cars were in yet, but there was a decent amount on display. Car modellers might get some ideas. (link)

Scale 75 Bianca Bust

First finished project for 2019. Have several projects on the go so wanted to actually get something done and off the bench. I really like the figure but not sure why I chose to do this first as it wasn't the easiest job in the [...]

Bandai 1/12 R5 Droid

This is one of my older builds from 2015. Was doing a high weathering idea especially with the thought of oil leaks. Today I would approach this totally different but it is good to remember our older stuff for what we did right as well as [...]

Review: Tamiya 1/48 7ton Armoured Car

9 year old Mini-Modeller takes a look at the excellent and cheap 1/48 Armour Car kit from Tamiya. Both of us are big fans of these 48 vehicles. (link)

Review: Dragon Empire Kickstarter

Love the designs, Love the concept, love the Genre! Hate the resin. They went with cheap resin. while it does hold the detail well it is very brittle. Hilts will only need bumping to snap. (link)

Scale 75 Heroes of the Fallen Empire Kickstarter

Scale 75 does some awesome kickstarters that don't seem to do very well. They are overall well priced and very fair I just don't understand why they don't do better. (link)

Bandai Space Battleship Yamato

This is part of Bandai's mecha series. Its a tiny capitol ship. Its sitting on a brick to give a sense of scale. Its small. But the detail isn't terrible and they sell for around 10.00. They are snap together and unlike many of our Western [...]

Hasslefree 28mm Barbarian

The second figure I finished from Hasslefree was this female Barbarian. She was a blast to paint. Small, a mix of textures and that great cloak. For around 10.00 it was a solid purchase. 28mm is very roughly 1/48 just as a general [...]

28mm Hasslefree Miniatures mage

This nice mage comes from Hasslefree Miniatures in the U.K. I finished her a while ago and considering her size is sort of 1/48 she has a nice amount of detail. I liked her a lot. She is sort of basic but detailed at the same time. Proof I [...]
