I am married to Doris Ann. I have a son, Steve, and his wife, Amy, a daughter, Maria, and three grandsons, Jonathan, Matthew, and Daniel. I am a retired soldier and postal worker. I built my first model, an Aurora Panther in 1954. I build mostly1/72 airplanes, brush-painted as I don't own an airbrush. I read mysteries, history, and science fiction. I like to fish, shoot, and do DIY projects. I have built over 3,000 models since 1954. I have over 1,300 on display in my home and keep 50 to 60 models in my stash.
