I've been modeling since I was a kid but took the break for college and then seriously got back to the hobby in 1978 in New York City At the famous ACE Hobbies on 38th street in Manhattan
Been hooked ever since. Big time !
When we moved to California in the mid eighties joined IPMS La Habra and IPMS Orange County.
I have eclectic tastes so I build everything...and buy everything !
Started a small club in Pasadena CA, Pasadena Modelers Society, an independent group of like minded individuals and also the now famous Valley Con show which takes place every March in the Pasadena Convention Center and attracts the best Modelers in Southern California. Both the club and show are going on 24 years of success !
Been lucky to compete at contests at the local regional and national level and take home a few awards...it's a great hobby !
All modelers of all types from Automobiles to Zombies welcome !1 California's largest contest, exhibition and display---last year 700 models from professionals to hobbyists ! Come join us !
