I am expert in drug research and development and was active globally, just retired. One daughter, single now (typical development).

Modelling since 40+ years but with decade long lasting pauses, though, due to professional needs. Topics PAF, RAF, Armee de L'Air, France, no longer Luftwaffe for obvious relevant reasons.
Just started again. Everything needed to be re-activated but now it is done.

Special interests: 1) camouflage colors and mixing then out of the commercially available model colors, their behaviour against tacking masks, fading, weathering, colour pealing, airbrushing; and latest addition: 2) Making my own masks out of airplane photos and artists profiles

Living in the Rhein-Main Metropol Area, several former Luftwaffe airfields like Biblis nearby, also museums Speyer and Sinsheim with a lot of equipment of former Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe on display (not always well restored, though).

I am a friend and companion of Heinrich Kosior who is known for his dioramas with RAF and USAAF bombers (1:48 and 1:32) inclusive crew and ground support equipment. Before COVID lockdown, his art could be viewed at Scale Model World Telford and elsewhere (see his articles)
