I've been making plastic (and occasionally wood and metal) models since i was 5 years old - but my output probably peaked in my mid-teens. More recently, I've been building up a nice stash of mainly aero and military vehicle kits, and when time permits, a bit of progress is made!
I usually play safe and wait for a kit to be reviewed before buying, but having seen reviews of (or purchased) some of ICM's recent kits, I thought I'd take the plunge.
