I am aged 71 in May 2024, I have lived in Sydney Australia since I was 3, have been modeling again since around 2000, I am a member of IPMS, NSW, my main interest is Australian Defence Force aircraft, military aerobatic team aircraft and helicopters, VTO, other themes are NASA, variable geometry / swing wing, all in 1/72 scale, also racing cars in 1/20 and 1/24 scale, also bikes in 1/12 and 1/9 scale, also some 1/144 and 1/200 scale aircraft, also 1/350 scale ships.
1/72 Hobby Boss, I replaced the exhausts with alloy tube and added some antennae, finished in Humbrol red 19 with Future over decals from the spares box, built 2012.
1/72 Academy, with Red Roo resin and decals, finished in flat black enamel with Future and Xtra flat over all, built for the Year of the Cat GB, mid 2017 to early 2018, more pic's and details there.
1/72 Italeri, started mid 2014, finished for the Year of the Cat GB, more pic's and details there, finished in MM enamels with Future and Vallejo matt varnish over Aussie and other decals.
1/72 Hasegawa, started 2006, stripped off the Gunze paint in 2013, repainted with MM 15050 and Tamiya enamels to replace the decals which fell apart and did not match the noted Gunze paint, the decals I did use were coated with MS liquid [...]
