I've been an avid modeler going on 40+ yrs now. I did take breaks from the hobby for military service and general life circumstances. The last 3 or 4 yrs have been good though, with about 200 completions or so. Most of my builds these days are commission work, though I do build from my stash to build something for me once in a while.
Just finished Eduards Supermarine Spitfire Mk. IXc from the Royal Class kit. Replaced the upper cowl with Breassin one piece cowl, and used Brassin wheels and brass landing gear legs. Painted with Model Master and Floquil Enamels. [...]
In my opinion Zvezda's Bf109F is the best in 1/48. very well detailed, and goes together just as well. I painted her with Floquil Military enamels, and Model Master enamels. After market decals are from Aeromaster if I'm not mistaken.
