Here’s my interpretation of Don Gentile’s P-51 “Shangri-La” using the Tamiya 1/48 kit. It’s another build from some years ago to add to my iModeler archive. I used the Aires cockpit set for this one.

Eduard kit, Exito Decals, plastic rods and lead wire for the brake lines, EZ Line for the antenna wire, MRP RLM76 and Gunze RLM 74/75.

This is only OOB model. It is rebox old Academy kit with some resin parts and new decals. Resin parts not better than parts from kit. Four new pylon? Why not all six? New seat without seatbelts? Wheels copy wheels from kit? And decals... [...]

I don't remember who's kit this is as I never took a photo of the box art and I don't remember when I built it. However with hardly any photos, I must have built it "OOB."
