1/72 Revell, almost OOB, still working on this, had trouble with painting, not happy with colors or finish of first two reds and then the last one wouldn’t dry so I’ve sealed it with a coat of Future, more to follow !!

Allan, looks good! Whose red do you favor for this?

Nice little kit Allan, and looks great. Quite some weight in the nose.

Thanks Bernard, I started with Xtracrylix red arrows red which was way too bright, more so than their enamel equivalent, then Humbrol 174, didn’t like the finish on this, next was the kit recommended Revell 330 which didn’t dry completely so I sealed it with Future, I’ve since bought a new tin of 330 which does dry so at this time it is my preference. ————-
Thanks Ferry, only 4 grams, kit says 10 grams, my Finnish Hawk also has 4g which is more than enough to keep its nose down.

Thanks for starting this one Allan! Can’t wait to see developments. Have you looked at Humbrol 238? Comes as enamel or acrylic.

Thanks Paul, I’ve not seen this as yet, will have a look at my local shop, also thanks for the heading pic !!
