    Like the title says... what do you think was the ugliest aircraft flying during the 1940’s? Feel free to post/link a suitable photo, too!

    Couldn't say what was the ugliest looking aircraft but maybe a group of aircraft which are all in that catorgory ,I would start of with the Mk1 Blenheim she wasn't a pretty girl.

    Interesting, I agree, for me no standout but for starters the weird Blomm and Voss I think it was, half twin boom aeroplane (can't think how else to describe it) and I know it was quite a performer but the twin engine pusher/puller Dornier that the Germans also came up with, was surely more function over form?

    How about the Dornier Do-X? It really isn't ugly, just awkward looking with the engines on top of the wing. The fuselage and cabin have a stately look about them. This will require some thought!

        Amiot 143, Bloch 200 and other French slabsides. 
    
         Agree the Zubr takes some beating, but the Airacuda I like!
    
          Also, what about the russian TB-3? With the zveno "cluster" (aptly named)
