Well – here’s my entry, assuming the tropical filter arrives from China (or wherever I bought it from!). I don’t have a Hurricane built yet and 3 in the stash, but the other two have schemes I want to do as is (night fighter and SEAC schemes). None of them had the filter, so I found this one on ebay. I got the kit for $5 at a model show, so actually paid more for the filter than the kit! Typical…

Good choice Greg, and yes there have been occasions where we all spend more on after market stuff than the actual kit. It’s a mystery of the sea I say.

    Perfect! Thanks so much, Greg!

I seem to recall that the old Monogram kit came with a big tropical filter and also maybe a REALLY big filter. If you know someone with old Monogram Hurricane parts in their box of “extra goodies” you might be able to get it. IF the e-bay thing doesn’t go well, of course. With a name like “Red Roo Models” I’ll bet the parts come from the Land Down Under. Our Australian brothers & sisters really like modeling.)
