Thanks Paul, the kit went together well, can't say I'm totally pleased with the decals. Not a show winner but a decent looking model and I'm glad to add it to this GB. In fact as the wine went down the finished Spit started to look even better.

The Spitfire looks fantastic Tom ! Did you use RAF Azure blue for the undersides or something else like a PRU blue or US Navy Blue Gray ?

I have been thinking about building a few Spitfires this year in the Iron Works and this kit is one that has found it's way to the build pile recently along with a few Airfix Spits and a pair of earlier Tamiya Mk 1's.

Louis I used Azure Blue per the instructions and any paint reference I could find. This is my second Tamiya Spit and both have gone together quite well. Highly Recommended, but you may want to use some after market decals.
