Came across this stuff at Bunnings yesterday:

I've had a quick look and for all intents it seems the same as Tamya tape; same feel, tack, paper etc. I bough this roll (36mm x 50m) and a second (24mm x 50m) for $10 to $15 each, so I figure it's abit cheaper than the Tamiya stuff.

Will be using it in the next month or so, will let you know how it goes.

    Ciao

If it's basically the same thing as Tamiya "yellow tape", it may be more 'cost effective' to buy IT rather than pay the extra $$ for the Tamiya name. Let us know if there's any real difference. Don't know the name Bunnings, but may be able to find the same tape somewhere around here...never really looked for a replacement. Thanks for the heads-up.

There is also this stuff. Almost as good as Tamiya tape except it does not hold very well over curved surfaces. Still, very low tack. I use it for large masking jobs, such as camouflage masking, etc. Cost only $8.00 which is about the same as I pay for a roll of Tamiya tape.
