Today we have deployed a collection of small improvements to the Groups and Profiles.

    In the groups area:

    – Groups overview should be more readable and also shows which groups you're a member in.

    See it here: http://imodeler.com/groups/

    – When viewing a single group page, the header has been revised with clearer info and larger group image. Also, there's a "join this group" button directly in the header, and a clear indication whether you already are a member of the group.
    – Becoming a group member adds two new tabs to the group view: Member Options (where you can subscribe to your choice of group updates by email - really useful IMHO) and Invite a Friend (possibility to send an invitation to join the group.
    – The tabs at the group page have been reordered and names adjusted for more clarity.
    – Non-logged in user may no longer see the list of group members.

    Example: http://imodeler.com/groups/75th-anniversary-battle-of-midway-group-build/

    In user profiles:

    – The tabs on user profile pages have been reordered and names adjusted for more clarity.
    – The tabs now clearly show the number of articles, topics and friend connections created by the user
    – On the default tab (Articles) shows cover images of your 12 latest posts.
    – When viewing your own profile (My stuff), private messages will appear as the first (leftmost) tab.

    Example: http://imodeler.com/members/editor/

    Enjoy

I haven't been to the site for a while, and now it will not accept my password. I tried to straighten it out and used a provided password but it will not let me access my blog. This has become a frustrating situation and seems to be what happens when they keep changing things. The same thing happened at Hyper-scale and I left that group. I love this site but it is starting to drive me crazy... it used to be very easy to use.
