    Yes, yet another Bf-109.
This one is one of them from my bucket list.
This aircraft had most of the camouflage colors removed in order to gain additional speed. That is this will be a natural metal color Bf 109.
I started from cockpit as usual.
    Cockpit modified by Aires set.

That's a great choice of subject and very informative tutorial on how to make these worn-off markings. Keep up the good work!

Nice work and an interesting subject. You don't often see bare metal 109's!

Tolga, I can't see too much from the archive photo. Is the airframe as shiny as yours? The American machines excepted, most natural metal skins (I thought) tended to be quite dull due to the oxidation effect on the metal panels, particularly in this case where the camo has been scrubbed away with thinners. I do like your work with the masks, and the subsequent distressed effect. Anyway, interesting project.

As much as I don't like doing BMF finishes, I really want to do a 72 scale of this bird - really fun and interesting scheme for a 109.

How did you distress the decals - were they oversprayed or did you sand them back? I would think attempting to sand them would just tear them.

Rob, weathering process still not terminated due to my pictures posted here. As a matter of the fact; I have already terminated weathering and applied semi matt coat last week.
This will not be finished like a standart NMF aircraft.( a little dull and semi matt) I will try to post actual pictures this week end.

Greg, Crosses on the upper wings and swastikas on the tail are painted by using Montex masks.
After painting Tamiya X22 applied to make them stronger againts abrasives effect.
    Later I started from Tamiya Finishing abrasives # 1500 and continues with # 1200 , 1000 and 800.
This process is very sensitive and requiring attention.
