I did my 1/48 Bae Hawk 100 as the Bae Hawk 108 version as used by the Malaysian AF. Decals were an aftermarket set. Paint used is Vallejo 70870 medium sea grey (air brushed).

My Italeri 1/35 Staghound done as when used by the Southern Rhodesian Armoured Car Regiment (SRACR) during the Rhodesia & Nyasaland Federation days. It is based on the one on display at the Zimbabwe Military museum, Gweru. Paints used [...]

A couple of 4th FG ponies

A couple of old builds of P-51-D’s from the mighty 4th Fighter Group. The first one is the old Fujimi kit with a Verlinden cockpit, decals from Superscale. The second one is the Monogram kit with decals from Superscale. Brian Riedel

CH-34, 1/48

CH-34, 1/48, by Gallery Models. It is a kit with a good detailing, with very good fitting of pieces. The detailing is correct, but the interior can be detailed even more. It is painted with Vallejo acrylics.

Hi There, I recently started rewatching MAS*H from the start with the movie and then the TV Series. (I've reached Series 5 so far) and got a hankering to try and build one of the helicopters. Most of the research was done on a frame by [...]

Review: Tamiya P-38H review

Herewith a review strictly for iModeler: History: The summer of 1943 finally saw the Fifth Air Force begin to receive the desperately-needed reinforcement and expansion that General Kenney had argued for since his arrival in Australia. [...]

RIP Bill Koster

Just heard the news that Bill Koster has passed. A man who influenced all of us, whether you ever made one of his conversions or models or not. The nicest guy to ever deal with in the hobby. He always had time for everybody. I hate you [...]

Hasegawa Ki-51 Sonia, 1/72

This is my submission for the Empire of Japan group build. OOB except that I added a couple of missing panel lines, and riveted the entire aircraft. As usual, I also added crew. Only issue I ended up with was the canopy didn't set totally [...]
