Tamiya He-219 Uhu

Built a couple of years ago, went together like a dream. Fun.

Monogram TBD

The fifth example of this old kit I've built over the years. Yellow Wings decals were used.

P-40N Kittyhawk Mk IV Hasegawa 1/48th

Pretty much out of the box, added a vac sliding part of the canopy and had a go at fading the paintwork. The overspray in the wheelwell is intentional as this was often seen.

Polish Squadron Aircraft

Since I am starting my last ("Kościuszko") Polish Fighter Squadron aircraft, the Ansaldo, I figured I would post a few of my past models. I have completed two MIG 29 versions, single and two seat. I have also completed a Albatross from 1918, a Hu[...]

Eduard 1/48th scale Fokker D VII

Built out of box, using kit photo etched parts. Humbrol and Model Master paints were used. Eagle Strike decals were used for the markings of the "Seven Swabians" as well as the upper and lower lozenge. Stainless steel wire was used for the rigging.

Otaki Tojo

An old Otaki kit that I had some fun with a few years ago. I love finding things like this at contest swap meets and entering them the next year!

Eduard 1/72nd scale Fokker Dr.1

Built out of the box. Used Extra Color, Humbrol and Model Master paints. Used streaked decals from Gunsight Graphics over a base of doped linen. Unit marking decals from Pheon, Stretched sprue was used for the rigging.

WNW 1/32 Junkers J.I

I had finally concluded no one would ever do this airplane in a mainstream injection-molded kit, but then WNW came along and made it one of their first releases. There is a problem with the ailerons having a gap at the inboard end. The expensi[...]

WNW 1/32 Pfalz D.XII

Another great WNW kit. I've said it before and will say it again: you can't go wrong with one of these kits. Rigging on this is relatively easy for the "rigging challenged." As is the case with the rest of the series, you can only screw it u[...]
