Whippet 1918

1:35 Takom painted with Tamiya and weathered with oils Figure Model Cellar painted with oils

First WW1 era model, MENG Whippet.

Have never done anything from this era. Solid kit, track was a complete PIA. But the outcome was worth it. First MENG kit, no fit issues at all. I’ll try another in the near future. Happy New Year modelers! ?

Medium Mark A Whippet, Meng 1/35

My first tank. I can't say too much about the Whippet - I'm no expert! It was said to be fast in its era - running at a heady 8.3mph flat out! The power was provided by 2 Tyler JB4 petrol engines (45hp) - the same as those of the [...]

Medium-A Whippet 1/35 Accurate Armour

Good evening! I bought this resin kit a long time ago when TAKOM and MENG had not yet presented their plastic kits Whippet. I was very disappointed with the poor quality of the kit parts. I removed the box away, that would not come across. [...]

Meng Mk.A Whippet Medium Tank 1/35

Hi everyone, this is my first kit by Meng and my first 1/35 model tank as well. I love WWI tanks, so this was a "must have" kit Amazing quality, a lot of details and easy to build. Enjoy the pictures. Hola a todos, este es mi [...]

Whippet Mk.A tank

Finally, I was able to finish this Meng tank, a straightforward build, MrPaint paint, Ammo/Mig various pigments and washes. Happy to see it amongst other tanks in the Alba Iulia Contest "Carolina Cup" 2018.

WW1 Whippet 1:35 Meng

Had a blast with this kit! Meng kits cover go together beautifully. Despite the unusual design of this tank this kit, like other Meng kits, went together beautifully. Given the subject, I was able to try out a lot of weathering tools, [...]

"No Man's Land"

This is the old Emhar 1/35 scale kit of the Mk. A "Whippet", which I added to a base that included the excellent WWI British soldiers by Master Box. I wanted to create a bombed-out, desolate, depressing landscape that illustrated [...]

Review: Meng 1/35th Mk A Whippet Review

It’s not to late… to Whippet… Whippet good…

Sorry my Devo is showing. My first finished model in a while is Emhar's old 1/35 Whippet, a Christmas gift from my kid. A British WW1 "exploitation" "tank", this was designed to be the fast vehicle to drive thru holes [...]
