1/32 Tamiya Spitfire IX

Without a doubt, the Spitfires are "definitive." Personally, I prefer the "Hasegawa style" of model production, since 95% of modelers aren't really all that interested in opening up their models. If the kit came with a "solid fuselage" and lacked the engine (which really requires a whole lot of detailing if you're going to have something that looks even close to real), with the resulting reduction in cost, I'd have more than one of each of these kits.
