Czech Mini Master 1/144 scale Resin Martin JRM-1 Mars Waterbomber, Completed
All resin Martin “Philippine Mars” completed. Floquil Railroad Colours Signal Red, Tamiya Spray Bomb Fine White Primer, and Tamiya Semi-Gloss Black. Exhaust staining is done with the Tamiya Weathering System. Kit is 16 1/2″ wide, 10 1/2″ long, and 4 1/2″ tall. Kit included two airframes, the other being “Hawaii Mars”, and the differences are molded into the fuselages. Very cool.

Very Cool George! I love those old sea planes. I was fortunate enough to snap some pictures of one of these beauties flying over my house when I lived in Lake Elsinore, CA. It sure in and impressive sight and yours is an impressive build, even in 1/144th thats a lot of resin! Good Job!

I too saw it out at Lake Elsinore, and once up in Canada in the early 70s when we went to B.C. on vacation. What a monster!

16″ makes for a big model. With this livery, it really stands out. BTW if this a/c was a monster, then IMHO an unusually good-looking one.
