Hawker Hunter 1/48 Academy
Here is my rendition of the amazing Hawker Hunter,it gets back to my interest in depicting well known aircraft but operated by lesser known airforces,there's a pint in it for anyone who recognises the markings but you'll have to show up at my local to claim the drink!
The Hunter was for a while the fastest thing in the sky and has to be one of the prettiest aircraft of all time.
The kit went together very well, I did read that there were some fit issues on the canopy but I found no problems.

My cousins husband used to be an FAA aircraft mechanic, he spent most of his time aboard HMS Ark Royal working on Buccaneers and Gannets and then after leaving the navy went to work as a civilian for the Omani airforce and worked on Hunters and Jaguars.he was the inspiration for this build.
Usualy when I see these kits built they have the same ordinance load so I went for something different with this multiple rocket load.

That's a very nice kit - if they had just given it a 1/48 cockpit rather than 1.72, it would be completely wonderful (and unfortunately John Adams at Aeroclub is out of the business of providing the solution).
As always you are spot on Tom, I just packed the seat a bit to raise it up nearer the height it should be but it could be better,thanks for looking.

Yeah, I lucked out as my kit already had the Aeroclub set when I bought it. I'm looking forward to trying it.
