Monogam 48th Scale F-15 Eagle

April 1, 2014 · in Aviation · · 24 · 2.8K

I had this model in the work in progress group a while back and saw a request for more photos and to put it in the headlines section. I scratched everything in the cockpit behind the seat. You can see that I used a good amount of resin aftermarket parts for the electronic bays, Verlinden if my memory is working. I also used a metal front landing gear with a railroad lens for the light.

That's the way an F-15 ought to look.

  2. Great build...great photos...THAT should be entered in a show somewhere!

  3. now thats just down right nice. I dont have the patience to produce a kit like that. too many stencils.

  4. Very clean build Jack. Exceptional work on the equipment bays.

  5. I've always liked the Monogram F-15. It looks even better all opened up! (It looks like you still used the kit nozzles and why not! With good detailing they also look awesome!) Great build!

in picture number 3 I note that the dunkalator sensor wires are crossed which in real life would cause the hydraulic drip motor to overload.
    The model is stunning!

  7. Amazing work Jack! Some stunning attention to detail!

  10. That avionics bay is amazing, Jack! Beautiful model...

Mike, are you sure that wasn't a flobulator sensor?

  11. Very nice, Jak ! Top notch !

  12. Jack, that is absolutely a "Top Shelf Build" Beautifully crafted... And by the way guys, the wire are obviously crossed on the dunka-flobulator leads on theTransmogrifier Unit!

  13. Looks like a classic Mugan build. Well done, Jack!
Any pencil panel lines on this one? I am of course thinking of your F-18.

  14. Nice one, Jack. Very pretty bird.

  15. Lovely Jack just lovely.
A fine example of an F 15, well painted and built.

  17. That looks great Jack.

  18. Jack, congratulations, absolutely beautiful. And absolutely beyond my abilities. Reinforces what I've always believed about Monogram kits - with a good dose of TLC, they will stand up to any Tamigawa kit. Many thanks for posting!

  19. Jack,
