The major George Preddy “Cripes A Mighty 3rd” P-51 D-5- NA paint and assembly

Hi,

I present you my last built... the kit is amazing but i had some trouble with my paint. I would do the Major Preddy plane between august and september 1944. The plane bears the scars of his fights and aluminum coating lost its luster ...
I had to make the figure of Major but this is represented with a G-suit and it must match the following period during his last European tour.

Still I hope it will suit you well.

  1. Is this the Tamiya 32nd scale offering...? The finish, detail and weathering are outstanding.

    • Hi craig and thank you very much. Yes it is the Tamiya kit with the Barracuda interior and tires. The decals are from Eaglecals.

    • Thank you Simon, i had lot of difficult with this paint and i really dicided during the build to let it in the box. After a long time to reflexion, i try to finish it. And this day arrived today...
      I dont know at this time if i ll realised in the next days a base and the Preddy figure.

    Absolutely beautiful. Like the Corsair, I have never seen a P-51 that I did not like. Yours is excellent. You have done a outstanding job and have complimented this airplane.
