  1. Dmitry, I enjoyed watching this one build up. It looks even better in in Headlines - Great weathering and paint job.

  3. Yet another great build Dmitry, nicely weathered.
    Well done sir.

  4. I had the ability to see this model live. Very, very good weathering! One of the best Hellcat model that I've seen.

  5. Great looking kit, Dmitry. The weathering is subtle and gives the model a look of natural wear.

  6. Well done Dmitry. This is color scheme I like with the right amount of weathering to compliment it.

  7. cracking hellcat...finely weathered

  8. Don't see too many Hellcats painted as such...turned out well. I like it.

  9. Beautiful Hellcat Dmitry, the weathering and invasion stripes are just superb.

  10. Outstanding Dmitry, don't see to many in this scheme, well presented, great images. Thanks for sharing.

  11. Dimitry,
Beautifully done. This is actually the first "slime and grime" hellcat scheme that I like. Great work.

  12. Dmitry,
Many folks don't even know that the Grumman Hellcat served with the Fleet Air Arm. You have done a beautiful job on this model, and have enlightened a lot of people as to one of the different venues the F6F appeared in, during WW2. It wasn't all in the Pacific. Thanks!

  13. Beautiful work on this. One of the most distinctive Hellcat schemes.

It's "the other D-Day" - August 18, 1944, in Southern France. (that's not a criticism - many many of us don't know that one was also called "D-Day" and that one squadron - 800 - celebrated with stripes)

There used to be an F6F-3 warbird in this marking, but PoF decided to "Americanize" it.
