Heritage Wings and Wheels

August 3, 2014 · in Show Reports · 2 · 1.4K

Tibenham Airfield lies about half hour's drive from me in rural Norfolk. Originally RFC Tibenham in WWI, and RAF Tibenham in WWII and a USAAF B-24 base, it's now the home of Norfolk Gliding Club. You drive along winding country lanes and turn along a farm track to reach the airfield.

Each year, an airshow is held there, together with other static displays, under the banner Herritage Wings and Wheels.

Photos are in the Airshows tab in Groups:

  1. Nice collection of pics over in groups, Rob...thanks for sharing.

  2. Rob,
You are so lucky to be near a show and display like this. That red Bristol car is beautiful. But no Nortons! Great photos, and thank you for posting.
