1/48 Tamiya F-84G Thunderjet

November 29, 2014 · in Aviation · · 20 · 2.7K

Here is my recently finished model. This is F-84G with Turkish aerobatic display team markings . The first aerobatic display team in Turkish Air Force was established in 1952 using the name “National” (Milli). The team existed until 1962, performing in Turkey, Italy and Belgium.
Cockpit of Tamiya's kit modified by some parts of Aires set like instrument panel and seat belts.
Natural metal areas painted with Alclad lacquers.
National insignias and flags are from Turquoise decal set.
Code numbers (282 & 102282) are from my spare box
