  1. Great news, the Defiant and the Heinkel are looking very nice, it seems Airfix will beat the Hasegawa 111 with better surfaces and details.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Cheers

  2. Thanks Martin for the article and photographs, excellent work! I am excited by both the Defiant and He 111. The Defiant is long overdue and is most welcome. The Hasegawa He 111 is expensive and the surface detail is exaggerated to an extent that it compromises what is otherwise a very nice kit.
Hopefully the Airfix kit will be an improvement.

  3. Airfix is still stepping up their game and in a most excellent way. Hopfully they will do the Defiant and Do-17 in 1/48 sometime in the near future.

  4. They scaled up the Gnat, a good sign !

  5. One, I see no pictures of the promoters handing out towels and no mention of turning off your self phone. Two things that would be needed to stop the drooling and keep the better half from stopping someone from making a rash decision. Some Great photo's of a great modeling event. Thank you for sharing.

  6. I built the Airfix Boulton Paul Defiant while I went to school with shorts as a toddler. Nice to see that Airfix are doing a new tool kit. It was one of my first attempts at modelling back in 1963.

  7. Airfix has become a force in the model kit industry. Love the defiant
