A New Year’s present from Bill Bosworth
Here is Bill Bosworth’s latest scratchbuilt masterpiece:a 1/32 Macchi M.33 Schneider Cup Racer. Bill is currently working on an M.52, which will complete his collection of Italian Schneider racers.
For those newcomers here, Bill Bosworth was the founder of Accurate Miniatures and is considered one of the leading scratchbuilders in the world. I have previously posted several other examples of his magnificent work.

Beautiful build, wish this was a mainstream kit!

Any time frame air racer appeals to me & this one is no exception. Are the ones in the last shot also 1/32nd?
Very sharp.

Yes, all 1/32, all scratchbuilt.

Next time Bill sends you some of his photos, ask him why Accurate Miniatures is no longer. That was/is good stuff.

Accurate Miniatures suffered some deliberate “hits” by competitors, then got sold to people who had no clue what they were doing. The rest is history.

Two questions: Define “deliberate hit’s” and secondly, what happened to AM molds? Who bought ’em?
(hint: “…they had no clue what they were doing..” – sounds suspiciously like Kitty Hawk – lol)
